The Pigeon House Studios is a collaborative workspace, offering an open and supportive work environment for its members. Members of the Pigeon House Studios agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement.

Bookings can be made and checked via the online members booking section.

The meeting room is available on a first in basis for phone calls etc. If you need it for longer than 1 hour or for guaranteed availability it needs to be booked. Bookings can be made via the member section. Members receive a 50% discount.

The studio can also be booked via the member website. Commercial jobs are charged at the regular fee but members receive a 25% discount for personal use.

Members who have a non-member working with them for longer than 1 hour, regardless of whether they they share the Member desk must purchase a booking pass at the rate of $25 + GST per person via the member section of the website, which will be added to the Members monthly bill.

The first member to arrive will be responsible for opening up the roller door and turning on the lights.

The last one Member to leave is responsible to ensure the front and back doors are locked, blind is pulled, shutter is down and lights and heaters are turned off.

No door codes to be shared or allocated.

All phone calls to be taken outside or in the meeting room with the door fully closed unless under special circumstances (such as remaining at the desk to use computer).

Members are responsible to ensure the bathroom, kitchen and general workspace remain clean and tidy after use.

The Pigeon House Studios reserves the right to terminate this Agreement with 7 days written notice for the following reasons;

  • a material breach of this Agreement;
  • non-payment or membership fees (or ongoing late payments or avoidance of payments);
  • ongoing disruptive, disturbing or disrespect behavior by a Member or Member Guest;
  • cessation of business or unavailability of Hire Spaces

A Member may terminate this agreement at any time, by providing 30 days’ prior written notice. If the Member terminates this Agreement during the Term of the Agreement the Member will not be entitled to be refunded the days paid in advance as at the date of termination.

The Pigeon House Studios will not be liable for any losses, costs and/ or expenses incurred or sustained by the other as a result of the termination of this Agreement.

Upon termination of this Agreement, (irrespective of the reason for, or circumstances of, such termination) or at the conclusion of the term of this Agreement each party must return to the other party:

  • any Confidential Information of the other party (other than Confidential Information which the first party must, by law, retain); and
  • any property of the other party that is in the first party's possession, custody or  power;
  • Pay all monies owing.

 

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability in respect of all claims in connection with this agreement (whether based in negligence or any other tort, contract, statutory liability or otherwise) will be the total sum of all fees paid by you under this Agreement up until and including the date the cause of action accrued. The limitation of liability set out in these Terms of Use does not attempt or purport to exclude liability arising under statute if, and to the extent, such liability cannot be lawfully excluded.

The parties warrant that they have the full power and authority to enter into and perform its obligations under this Agreement.

The Parties agree to indemnify and hold each other and their related entities, affiliates, and their respective officers, agents, and employees, harmless from and against any and all claims, demands, proceedings, losses and damages (actual, special and consequential) of every kind and nature, known and unknown, including reasonable legal fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of a breach of these Terms or a breach of any law or the rights of a third party.

This document is binding upon execution by the authorised officers of both parties
